[ Series ] – Death Trance
[ Character’s Name ] – Grave (aka Coffin Man)
[ Character’s Element ] – earth, fire
[ Teacher or Student? ] – student, 3rd year, Bahamut (Rooms with Albel in Giga Flare)
[ Character Profile ] – An unknown time. An unknown place. Without reasons. With no future. His only desire is... Destruction! Grave is a wandering swordsman, a demon who fights without pupose beyond fighting itself. Conflict and challenge are child's play to him--and he is good enough that he will often go through an entire battle without actually unsheathing his sword.
[ Appearance ] – Grave stands 5' 7" (1.7 m), with long, black, semi-dredlocked hair, and dark brown eyes that flash crimson when his power is activated. His favorite piece of clothing is a well-worn, off-white or grey yukata with a leather obi and vest/shoulder straps/laces over high, black martial arts boots. Sometimes seen in black trenchcoats, leather jackets, and prison jumpsuits.
[ Personality ] – Arrogant, headstrong, impulsive, and volatile, Grave is constantly seeking new challenges--often while looking and acting perpetually bored. He is also known for being perpetually hungry.
[ History ] – Found orphaned outside of a rural forest village as a child, Grave was taken in and raised as a swordsman—becoming a part of the only line of defense against an endless stream of bandits and forest monsters. Although loyal to the young female village chief Shirayuki, things began to change when a mysterious monk wandered into town claiming that he was part of an order that must guard against the resurrection of the Goddess of Destruction, which was prophesied to take place in that very village.
Not long after the monk's arrival, impetuous Grave began fighting the people he loved and respected, and the truth about his mysterious heritage finally began to unravel--that Grave was not human at all, but one of a race of bloodthirsty demons known as Hatena, whose powers had begun to awaken. Finally, at Shirayuki's suggestion, Grave decided to leave the village, that he might search for the ultimate battle; but in order to face the Goddess, he would first have to embrace his true nature. That search led him to Dusk Academy.

[ Other ? ] – Grave fights with a variety of weapons, most commonly a katana-style gunblade, and a spelled katana which cannot be drawn by anyone but himself, and only when his powers are fully awakened.
